Successer vs Predecessor

In fact its not Successer rather Successor

The Difference Between Predecessor and Successor

It is a very common question that people ask to each other, “who is the predecessor and who is the successor?”. I think we have been asking this question since the beginning of the human race and the answer to this question will always remain the same.

Predecessors and successors are two different things and there is no confusion between them. So, let’s understand the difference between them.

Successor and predecessor

The meaning of the word successor is that a person takes over the position of his predecessor. The successor takes over the position of his predecessor because he was selected by the predecessor.

The predecessor is the person who left the office and the successor is the person who took over that position.

For example, if a person is the head of the company and he leaves the company, then the company will choose a successor as the next person in that position.

Similarly, if a person is the president of the company and he leaves the company, the company will choose a president as the next person in that position.

Predecessor and successor

The meaning of the word predecessor is that the person follows the predecessor and succeeds him. If a person is the vice president of the company, he is the successor of the president and vice president of the company.

He is not the successor of the president but the successor is the person who is going to succeed the president.

Who is the successor?

The person who succeeds and fill the position of a previous person (Predecessor)
